Father and Son in Parmout Found Dead

Parigi Moutong,- TWO Men of Dusun Tongkasa, Tanah Lanto Village, Torue Sub-District, Parigi
Moutong District, Central Sulawesi, were found dead with their necks almost
separated from their bodies. The two residents were father and son named Patmar
(49 years) and Pate (27).


Information said that the father and son worked daily as palm sugar
makers. Both of them left for the garden on Monday (6/24) at around 08.00 local
time.

“Usually, the victim leaves early in the morning and returns at
8pm. But on that day, both of them did not go home as usual,” said Tina,
the victim’s wife.

Because they did not go home until 10:00 pm local time, the victim’s
wife reported to the dusun head and passed on to the police. The family decided
to look for the victim to his garden, but the police were banned, because it
was very dangerous.

Finally, it was decided to find the presence of his father and son on
Tuesday (6/25) morning. According to the police, the search began at 05.00
local time and finally the victim was found around 06.30 Central Indonesia
Time.

A search involving residents and Buser from the local police station
found his father and son in a state of death with an almost severed neck.

“Both were found around 10 meters before the garden hut,”
said the police who asked not to write his name.

Due to the incident, the Central Sulawesi Regional Police Chief,
Brigadier General Police Lukman Wahyu Hariyanto finally postponed the meeting
which was supposed to be held on Wednesday (6/26/2019) to be delayed until
further notice.
There has been no official statement about the perpetrators of the
father and child murder. But a number of parties suspect, if based on
experience with the previous victims, the alleged perpetrators were the
Mujahidin group of East Indonesia.

Currently, MIT members who are still guerrilla in Poso and Parigi
Moutong forests, are thought to have left 13 people. The security forces who
are members of the Tinombala Operation Task Force continue to pursue the group
