KAILIPOST.COM,- SULTENG – Inflation in Palu from January to December 2017 reached 4.33%. This number is greater than the 2016 inflation of 1.49% and in 2015 of 4.17%. “The highest inflation in December 2017 was 1.87% and the lowest in July and August was 0.05%,” said Moh. Wahyu Yulianto, Head of BPS Distribution Statistics Division of Central Sulawesi, to a number of journalists in Palu, Tuesday (2/1/2017).
In 2017, the city of Palu experienced three deflation times, namely in September, October and November. “We have warned that in December and January, it is a time that needs special attention from the Regional Inflation Control Team (TPID) so that certain strategies are needed to control it,” Yulianto said.
Palu City is in ranked fifth for total inflation in 2017 in Sulawesi, Maluku, and Papua (Sulampua). Palu city is under Tual, Watampone, Bulukumba, and Makassar.
