KAILIPOST.COM,- DONGGALA- THE CIRCULATION Money in Banawa as the capital of Donggala District declined, even affecting the economic downturn because people’s purchasing power dropped dramatically. This was stated by one of the entrepreneurs engaged in buying and selling commodities, Chinese descent to Kaili Post, Wednesday (07/03/2018) yesterday.
According to the trader, the cause of money circulation in Banawa dropped because of the interest of buying people lethargic. One of the indicators, he said the community consumerism in the district capital is down. Due to the minimal incompressing of income, the unemployment rate increases.
“It is not the same as the port is still active as a means of loading and unloading goods, laborers and traders still feel the impact so that there is economic circulation, buying interest community improved, this end no progress, many entrepreneurs swerved,” he admitted.
He highlighted the local government policy of Donggala District which did not provide solutions and contributed to the decline of economic growth especially Banawa as a buffer zone in Donggala. Building the people’s economic resources, he said, as a layman understands the local government is mistaken if only to boost the development of infrastructure that is considered wasteful and unbeneficial. Examples of cases, is the declaration of a tourist city that is just a slogan, pouring the budget construction of the pavilion is not supported by means of infrastructure and human resources.
In fact, if the local government implements the policy of transfer of civil servants living in Banawa will be better in supporting the economy because there will be buying interest of the people especially for PNG Donggala who live in Banawa.
It’s just that this policy is only windy, just a month in realization hereafter until this moment that happened condition of us Banawa is just like old city uninhabited. “The time applied employee policies should stay in Donggala look the economy grows, only for a month this applies, next one there will be no again in,” he said.
According to him, whoever our regent is not serious and firmly then what happens is Donggala only decline. “People who just open business just think because who wants to buy, two three months can close alias bankrupt,” he said.
Hardi, a resident of Kita Donggala who has opened a small trading business like a kiosk in Boya Village just complained because since the early morning the buyer there is only every half hour just come to his stall for shopping.
He feels so bitterly economic in Donggala City which he says is very lethargic and willing to open any business will not last long because of less buying interest. He agrees with Ko who is a businessman and trader in Donggala, that the government should provide a solution not a promise in boosting the economy in Banawa.
If civil servants moved and lived in Donggala, one encourages economic growth, small businesses can feel the impact, “he said. Community activities in Donggala tend to be lethargic because they do not stay alias odd jobs, once the harbor still exist actually give a positive contribution, otherwise the last five years decline.
On the other hand, the government only focuses on physical projects which according to him are still not on target. One of the busy roads is quiet now, right in front of the Donggala harbor. A number of store buildings lined up also deserted buyers.**
