PALU,- FOOD AND DRUG Monitoring Agency of Palu (BPOM) have issued the test result of the cause of students SD Al Fahmi experienced food poisoning. “There is seven sample and after examined in the laboratory, on Monday the test result has been known and we give a report to Health Office of Palu City”, head BPOM explains. He also said that fried rice, chocolate banana, and watermelon sampling on the day of massive poisoning food at SD Al-Fahmi, while the second sampling of beverages after the poisoning. Samples of chocolate banana and drinking water are not found a harmful bacteria, such as in fried rice and watermelon.

There are several factors that causing the growth of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria, such as sanitary and hygienic in cooking chicken and various other factors that can cause the growth of both bacteria.

He then explains that Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli bacteria can cause nausea and vomiting. “References said that these bacteria can cause nausea and vomiting and indeed these two bacteria are usually found in high protein, especially Staphylococcus aureus bacteria such as chickens that have a high protein”, he added.

Ombudsman’s Central Sulawesi Head Office, Sofyan Farid Lembah, on his response to this examination result, expressed via FB messenger that whatever the laboratory examination result, it showed that there was a negligence of many parties. Because the lab test is required as one of the evidence besides 5 witnesses testimony that has been interrogated before. The five witnesses are 2 chefs, 1 catering head reservoir, 1 UKS staff and 1 school treasurer.**
