Forbes Indonesia comunity continued to do something for humanity of Pasigala rising from adversity after the natural disasters

This mass organization which moves for humanity and empowerment continues to
move for the vision of Pasigala rising from adversity after the natural
disasters.

This time, it brought other empowerment for the tsunami victims in
Talise sub-district, Mantikulore District, Palu, which is precisely on Jalan
Komodo, RW 1 RT 1.

As many as 50 residents, who are members of 10 groups, each group
consists of five housewives. In these five business groups, the capital assistance
for home-made cake business was provided, with marketing assisted by Forbes
Indonesia.

Head of the local RT, Mr. Abdillah, greatly appreciated the business
capital assistance from ForBes Indonesia. The new ForBes Indonesia is providing
capital assistance to the community in RT 1 RW 1 in Talise Village. Although it
is small, useful and very helpful.

The Chairperson of ForBes Indonesia, Ronny Tanusaputra, in his remarks
said that the business capital assistance was a rare beginning. The vision of
ForBes Indonesia’s mission is community empowerment, so that it can rise from
adversity after the 7.4 SR earthquake that hit Pasigala, Central Sulawesi.

‘’Not only empowerment, we also do advocacy by conducting data
collection and legal assistance to the disaster affected communities. Recently,
the accompanied two residents temporarily who were suspected of being
criminalized when taking rice for their necessities of life during the
earthquake in Labean Village, Balaesang sub-district, Donggala. ” explained Secretary
General of Indonesian ForBes, Mahfud Masuara.

Other things, ForBes Indonesia also provides the coffee seedlings as
well as fertilizer for people in the Pasigala area and currently in the nursery
process, there are 200 thousand seedlings that have been sown in Sipeso
Village, Sindue Tobata sub-village. For emergency response, ForBes Indonesia also
built 1000 shelters. The sample is in Banawa sub-district. In the near future,
it will also build 70 more units in Tanjung Padang Village, Sirenja District.

Previously, in commemorating the two months of earthquake, tsunami and
liquefaction disaster, ForBes Indonesia carried out flower sowing and prayer
together at the mass burial site of earthquake victims, accompanied by
liquefaction and tsunami in Palu, Sigi and Donggala yesterday (11/28/2018) in
three different locations.

The three points became the location of the joint prayer, namely Talise
Beach Pavilion, the mass burial place of the Poboya District, Mantikulore
Village, Palu and the liquefaction location of Jono Oge Village, Sigi.

”Based on the direction of Head of ForBes that it is necessary to hold
a joint prayer to commemorate and pray for the victims and families, ‘said
Mahfud Masuara at the location of the mass burial of Poboya hamlet in Palu
yesterday.

With the action, he said, he hoped the victims could be forgiven and
placed on the side of God Almighty. ‘’For the families who are left behind,
they are also given steadfastness.’’ concluded Mahfud.

Currently, ForBes continues to make the efforts to recover the victims
of Palu, Sigi and Donggala disasters. In addition to building temporary shelter,
it has also distributed logistics and legal assistance for the victims who were
