PARMOUT,- DOING Village Fund Corruption, the perpetrator must be strictly dealt in accordance with applicable law in order to give effect to others. This was stated by the Minister of Village Development on Underdeveloped Regions and Transmigration, Eko Putro Sandjojo to a number of journalists after opening the activities of Appropriate Technology (TTG) to XIX which was held at the location of ex-Tomini, Parigi Moutong Regency (Parmout), Wednesday (27/9).
He said the village fund system is very good until the supervision process involving the attorney and police along with several other parties. According to him, there are two problems arising that may trigger the occurrence of corruption crime against village funds, that is because of ignorance and the change of Village Head that has not followed the counseling about the management of village funds.
However, about the occurrence of corruption in the village funds, he claimed cannot do anything because it has agreed with the General Attorney and Chief of Police to crack down on the perpetrators of village funds corruption to give a bright effect.
Because there are much of village funds disbursed by the central government, but not aiming the target. The case is different if the administrative errors only he said, it will not be criminalized through legal process.
“If corruption is required to be dealt with firmly and strictly, in fact, there is no tolerance for anyone who does corruption of village funds,” he said. He added that every year, the amount of village funds continues to be increased by President Joko Widodo.
For example, in 2015, the village fund is disbursed as a whole was worth Rp20.8 trillion even though the village apparatus was not yet ready. Evidently, from the total of disbursed village funds worth Rp20, 8 Trillion in 2015 ago, only as much as 82 percent are successfully absorbed by villages throughout Indonesia.
However, according to President Joko Widodo, villagers will never be ready if they do not start. Nevertheless, President Joko Widodo’s strong commitment is not to stop or reduce, rather to actually doubled from Rp20.8 trillion to Rp46.98 trillion in the amount of disbursed village funds.
“Evidently, villagers are able to learn and improve.” In 2016, the village fund absorption has been increased more than doubled, absorption increased from 82 percent to 97 percent, “he said.**
