MORUT,- SITI ROHMATUN, Head of Tontowea Village, East Petasia Sub-district, North Morowali District during the period of tenure since 2013 until now has been doing village development. The goal is to improve the economy of the people of his village. Although as Village Head, he admitted, he did not experience any significant obstacles during this time leading his village. To kaili post (09/12/2017) last week, Siti conveyed the achievement of vision-mission of Tontowea namely Realizing People’s Welfare through Plantation and Agriculture Sector and Improving Economy of Tontowea Village Community.
” I and along with my staff strive for the development in this Tontowea village can be further increased from previous years. Physical program in 2017 he mentioned among others; Drainage development, construction of a 294 meters football field, construction of a two-unit volley boy and daughter field, renovation of a single basin water container and 600 meters-pipeline construction.
As for the empowerment program; The village of Tontowea undertook the initial capital provision of Bumdes Rp75 million, Bintek to Bali recently, Bintek in Parmout, Village Competition at Sub-district level and Regency level, Welcoming Republic Indonesia Anniversary and North Morowali Anniversary, Karang Taruna, PKK, religious, fund for customary figure, fund for Linmas, Posyandu and Poswindu, KPMD and LPMD, Siti again.
” All of these things work well thanks to the cooperation between the village officials and the full support of the villagers. Siti Rohmatun also thank to North Morowali Regency for its assistance to Tontowea Village through Local Budget Plan (APBD) that is with the construction of farmer road (JUT) of plantation along 1,000 meters, 1.200 meters of rice farm road development, 1,000 meter normalization of river development, Nutmeg Seed for residents as many as 2500 trees through the agricultural service, the construction of 390 meters of drainage and 16 livestock.
Siti Rohmatun appealed to the people of Tontewea Village to be able to work together to support each other with the village government for this village development, it can run well and the community’s safe peace and prosperous. It also pleaded with the government to build a 3500-meter drainage from the border of Tiu Village to Tontowea Village, and the construction of a neighborhood road leading to a 700-meter-long Islamic and Hindu cemetery. ” It is expected to be budgeted through APBD funds in 2018, because it is needed by the village community for the improvement of the economy of Tontowea Village residents, ”she said.**
