Parigi,- THE PERPETRATORS Of illegal logging of mangrove forests over the past few months have occurred in some areas of Parigi Moutong (Parmout) district should be deterred. Thus, it can have an impact on other logging perpetrators who often do destruction of mangrove forest area.
Thus expressed by Chairman of Environmental Division of Nature and Adventure Lovers (LPAP) El Capitan Indonesia, Moh. Abdu told Kaili Post in his secretariat, Monday (8/28). Abdu said, so far perpetrators of mangrove forest logging are still often to perform the action.
No wonder, still often heard or seen areas of mangrove forests that are damaged by logging. For example, logging mangroves in Malakosa Village, Balinggi sub-district and Ganda Sari Village, Sausu District. In Malakosa Village he said, recorded an area of 20 hectares of mangrove forest that has long been cleared and newly revealed.
Meanwhile, in Ganda sari village, the information received by the mangrove forest area, which suffered more damaged from Malakosa Village. “Hopefully, in the process of completion of mangrove forest logging that is intended for fish farming business in Malakosa Village, which has been handled by the government can provide a mild effect for the perpetrators,” he said.
Head of Environmental Management Agency (DPLH) Parmout District, Efendi Batjo who met in a separate place claimed his side had dealt damage to mangrove forests in Malakosa Village. In fact, it has called the owner of fish ponds located in the mangrove forest area in the village. The owner of the pond said he, has acknowledged the act that resulted in damage to mangrove forest in Malakosa Village area of 20 hectares it.
Not only that, the owner of the pond, also claimed to be ready to re-plant mangrove in the area that has been destroyed. While in Ganda Sari Village, DPLH will coordinate with Sausu District Government to mediate to be reunited with land owners.
“The information we received, the mangrove forest area damaged by the logging in Ganda Sari Village is an inheritance land, so we will coordinate with the district government to mediate with the land owners,” he explained.**
