SULTENG,- Government of Central Sulawesi Province through Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry, establishing a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Communication Forum. “Inauguration has been done by Head of Energy and Mineral Resources Department of Central Sulawesi, Tuesday (24/10),” said Secretary of Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry of Central Sulawesi, Marlina in Palu, Tuesday.
Formation of the forum, he said, based on the Decree of the Head of Energy and Mineral Resources No. 800/414 / SEK / DESDM on CSR Forum Leadership Forum 2017-2020 chaired by Nurtyas Kadarto, Secretary Linda Rahim and Treasurer Yeni Mariam. In the decree, he said, about 35 mining companies, both mineral and rock, joined the forum. “But there is no limit on anyone who entered the membership, as long as the company has complete legality and domiciled in Central Sulawesi,” he said. In the Decree, elected officials carry out coordination and cooperation tasks and participate in the success of local government programs and related institutions in terms of building synergy in development planning in Central Sulawesi. The board plans and carries out social and environmental responsibility activities to the communities surrounding the company.
In addition, inventory, review and evaluate the proposals of programs and activities, whether those from the community, government, or the business community that have the potential to be managed through the CSR program or activity.
