SPECIFICALLY For civil servants who lost their houses due to the
disaster of liquefaction that hit Palu and Sigi in September 2018 will then be
stopped their salary deductions paying housing loans.
On
the occasion of a joint ceremony on Thursday (01/17/2019), Central Sulawesi
Governor H Longki Djanggola urged civil servants who were directly affected by
the disaster on 28 September 2018 to report to the bank where they took housing
loans so that salary deductions were no longer carried out. Installments have
been lost due to liquefaction.
“By
bringing a statement letter from the related parties so that with such an
explanation that what is being borne by the brothers who are cut every month at
the bank, God willing can be resolved and this has been a promise from the vice
president through the finance minister,” said the governor when he became
Irup.
“Houses
affected by liquefaction such as in Petobo, Balaroa, please connect directly to
the bank concerned,” the governor added.
Meanwhile,
the Pasigala Disaster Victim Forum Debtor has requested that there be a
suspension or moratorium on credit collection to debtors before there is an
official decision from the Republic of Indonesia Government. The time lag
(moratorium) aims to provide opportunities for debtors to get back up, be
economically strong.
According
to the Chairperson of the Forum, Andono Wibisono,  the banking sector
implemented a restructuring with debtors. “We first use it according to
the abilities, problems, and constraints of each member. In the process of
restructuring the position of the debtor may not be forced or forced or
unequal,” he said.
The
restructuring process, said Andono, should be accepted for ‘temporary’ while we
continue to fight to the Republic of Indonesia Government. The goal, so that
there is a pause to economically empower the people at the lower level.
“It
takes full strength of all members of the debtor demanding the abolition of
credit to the central government,” he asked.**
