THE Regional Secretary of
Central Sulawesi Province, Hidayat Lamakarate, opened the Samsat Development
Team Meeting and the National Online Samsat (Samolnas) Socialization by the
National Police Corruption Team in the Central Sulawesi Region, at the Swiss
Ball Hotel in Palu City, Monday (6/24/2019).

Hidayat said the meeting was to equalize the perception in the
management of Samsat.

Hidayat, who is also the Chairperson of the Samsat Development Team,
explained that the Samolnas system was implemented to provide services to the
public and also as an effort to improve local service.

Hidayat admitted that the Provincial Government often gets criticism
from the Central Sulawesi DPRD through the Revenue Service because it is
considered to only include small motorized vehicle revenues, while the volume
of motorized vehicles in Palu City is quite high.

Observing this, Hidayat assessed that there are still many motorized
vehicles in Palu City that use vehicle plates from outside the area

“If we see there are still many vehicles in Palu City that do not
use DN plates. This is what needs to be regulated,” he said.

Responding to the service system online, Hidayat hopes that data input
and transaction systems will be facilitated so that people can access it
quickly.

Meanwhile, the Central Sulawesi Regional Police Director, Senior
Commissioner Iwan Setiawan, said that online services were put in place as an
effort to respond to the demands of the public regarding rapid public service,
for this reason the Korlantas innovated in the public service system online.
“The online system is expected to facilitate payment services, at
any time without having to come to the Samsat office,” said Commissioner
Iwan Setiawan.

National online Samsat development is a Korlantas Polri priority
program in terms of PKB payment services, SWDKLLJ and annual registration of
STNK electronically.

The Samsat Development Team and National Online Samsat Socialization
Meetings were attended by 85 participants consisting of Samsat leaders, UPTD
Regional Revenue Agency, Head of North Sumatra Headquarters, Banking Leaders
and other related parties.**
