The Polemic of Motorcycle Thief Death in Parigi

PARIGI,- THE DEATH Polemic of Jhon – Daeng (40), a resident of Olaya Village, Parigi Mautong District, Central Sulawesi, whose photograph circulated and became viral in social media, until now have been subjected to various speculations in the community. Victims who are also perpetrators of various criminals such as motorcycle theft, according to information from the police was killed on the way when being captured from his residential. The victim had jumped from the top of the Pombolawa bridge II, Tuesday (10/10/2017) at around 23:30 pm.

The police version is thus chronological. At Tuesday night at around 23.30 pm, members of Criminal Police Joint Team of Palu and Parmout arrested a syndicate of motorcycle theft, Jhon a.k.a Daeng at his home, Olaya. The arrest operation was the result of the development of a previous suspect arrest of motorcycle theft, Aco conducted by Police Office West Palu.

The Vice Chief of Police Central Sulawesi, Kombes Muh Aris Purnomo in his statement to a number of journalists at Bhayangkara Hospital on Thursday (12/10/2017) at 14:00 WITA said that this incident is a disaster for all of us. “Currently we are also still checking the five police officers who handled the case of the motorcycle thief death. But according to information, the victim who is a suspect of motorcycle theft syndicate died as a result of escaping by jumping from a high enough bridge. ” explained by the Vice Chief of Police.

Meanwhile the head of health department of Central Sulawesi, Regional Police AKBP Arifin explained the death of the victim due to collision of blunt objects on the face, chest, abdomen, and limbs. But it is not the cause of death. Fatal scars are at the back of the head, after it was found bleeding in the lung, about 50 percent and directed in the lining of the brain. The resulting acceleration between impact and speed, for example, falls from a height.

The wife of the victim, Mrs. Rosmin who met Kaili Post while waiting for autopsy at Bhayangkara Hospital said that happened at around 00.00 WITA. A number of police picked up her husband (victim) because of suspect cases. At about 3:00 am, she was contacted by the Village Head and told her that her husband had died from escaping by jumping off the bridge, “We are from the family feeling weird on his death. While my husband was picked up by six people, and drove with Avanza car, they also did not bring a warrant for my husband, ” he explained.
